Our work transcends “digital transformation.” From overhauling one state’s child protective services to serve the most vulnerable residents better, to delivering timely and accurate data for some of our nation’s largest healthcare providers – how we approach people, processes, and technology has longstanding ripple effects.
1991
Beginnings
- We started as a regional paper conversion service for litigation in the legal and federal sectors, leading them to quicker case resolution. This was way back when microfilm and microfiche were in hot demand
2004
The Beltsville expansion
- Under the leadership of Chuck Bauer and Dick Ashman, we established an office in Beltsville, MD, and grew to 50 employees
2005
ImageMax assets purchase and intro to the OnBase world
- This allowed us to step onto the national stage of Enterprise Content Management and led us to become the top OnBase solution provider we are today. We also gained new facilities in Houston, TX, and Chesterton, IN
2011-2014
Information Access Systems (IAS), eDocument Resources (eDoc), and Alpha Systems acquisitions
- This growth era helped us develop our professional services and strengthen offerings for healthcare, state and local government, and insurance. We also expanded our network to the Southeast and Midwest US markets, opened our Huntingdon Valley, PA headquarters, and welcomed our current CEO, Matt Charlson, who happened to be a co-founder of eDoc, to the team
2017
DataBank acquired by Kyocera
- Kyocera Document Solutions is a global leader in total document solutions based in Osaka, Japan. This alliance has permitted us to offer more comprehensive services and solutions
2022
Switch on: The DataBank Cloud
- We launched and brought to market The DataBank Cloud, a comprehensive cloud hosting service
2023
Intelligent document processing services and PageIQ formalized
- After years of honing our services, we tied a bow on our AI-powered document processing solution and delivered PageIQ, an enterprise automation platform
